On their own, they're completely different. Together, they create something that feels remarkably natural.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNovo XIV opens with lemon and bergamot, giving the fragrance a bright, refreshing introduction. As the citrus settles, lavender and matcha begin to emerge. Neither is meant to overpower the other. The soft, aromatic character of lavender blends with the smooth, green quality of matcha, while petitgrain, neroli and sage help bring the two together.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eVetiver, patchouli and an ambergris accord provide a woody, slightly mineral foundation that gives the fragrance depth without taking away from its calming character.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNovo XIV isn't meant to smell like a traditional lavender fragrance or a cup of matcha tea. It's about finding the space somewhere between the two.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA little balance. A little clarity. There's a salty ocean breeze running through the fragrance, along with green notes that keep the fruit and citrus feeling fresh.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJasmine, orange blossom and birch add another layer before everything settles into ambroxan, cedarwood, musk and oakmoss.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is a fresh aquatic fragrance with enough warmth and woodiness to carry it beyond the beach.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt's the kind of summer I had in mind when I made it. Eucalyptus and marine notes bring a cool, airy quality, while cedar and patchouli give the heart a natural, woody character.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAs it settles, sandalwood, amber, musk and oud add warmth and depth without losing that freshness.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI wanted Cascadia to feel peaceful, but not delicate.
